Hello! My name is Archie, I am a very lovely Orange Winged Amazon, I am very sweet natured and will let you know if I don't want to interact, I am quite east to read and if you respect my boundaries, we will be great friends. I love head scritches and if you wiggle your finger to offer, I will bow my head if I am receptive. I do grumble a little growl when you ask me to step up but if you are confident and steady I will step right up.

My safehouse family work from home so I am used to people being around quite a lot, I don't think I would like to spend too much time alone as I do like being in company, even if I am just sat on a perch while people are working around me.

I do like to give a good squawk every now and then but it doesn't tend to go on for long and my favourite thing to say is 'hellloooooowa' I also love to chew, particularly wood which is how I keep my beak so nice and trimmed.

I don't mind other birds; I will leave them alone and will back away if one of them shows me they don't want me nearby. I live peacefully with my safehouse brother Max but we are not close friends, more like neighbours really.

I am a bit plucked on my belly but my safehouse Mum says I am still the cutest little Amazon she has ever seen. I adore a spray bath and will keep splashing around until your hand aches from spraying, I love to be a wet rainbow chicken.

I really am a gentle friend and would love to find a forever family who I can sit and relax with, especially if they happen to have the odd cashew nut and will give me scritches and spray baths.
