Hello everyone, my name is Beau. I am an African Grey and I am a handsome man, that is what my safehouse mum keeps telling me. I am a quiet soul.

Before coming to Birdline I had spent a very long time on my own and stuck in my cage because my owner was so poorly and in and out of hospital so I am shy and will need help with my confidence and the opportunity to perfect my flying skills.

I would really love a new home that is quieter than my safehouse, they have children and other pets here and I am a little afraid of them! So, a home without pets and children would be great. I would like a new home with parents I can have to myself to help me be a brave boy.

I am starting to let my safehouse parents tickle my neck now, it is quite a big deal isn’t it this lovey stuff?! I can ’woo’ and sometimes I even say ’good boy’ because that is what my safehouse mum and dad call me, but they have another bird here that doesn’t stop talking so I need a chance to find my voice and have my very own parents to talk to.
