Hello, I am a female Congo African Grey called Eliza. I am fully flighted and my Safehouse family say I am absolutely beautiful, which of course I already know. I am a very friendly lady, but I do prefer men over women, although I do let my Safehouse mum feed me and give me treats (almonds are my favourite). I do love my food and I am not picky. My safe house dad says I have the appetite of a seagull as I prefer to eat his vegetables rather than the vegetables, I have in my bowl ha ha!

I love coming out of my cage and having snuggles with my Safehouse dad as he tickles my head. Whilst I can fly, I often prefer to walk, I do like to go on a stroll round the house and nose around every so often, so watch where your walking and please don’t tread on me. I do love to be vocal with my whistling and I can even whistle Freddie Mercury’s EH-OH. I am very clever and mimic the alarm clock and any other sounds that I find interesting.

I am looking for a quieter home rather than a noisy one, I am fine with older children as they are quieter than younger ones, I do prefer the males of the family, but will tolerate the females but I prefer them not to be too close when I’m out of the cage. I have a very loving and friendly personality and I would love to find my forever home, but do bear in mind that I will need time to settle in and learn to trust you.
