Hi I'm Frankie an Umbrella Cockatoo. I am a great bird, a bit on the cheeky side but have bags of personality. I like my cuddles and dancing on my cage. I like most people but love ladies and children. I like to chew things I shouldn’t, but oh dear that’s me, to minimise me chewing things that you don’t want me to, I need a box with a book in at the bottom of my cage – which I will shred and make a mess. I will always ask you when you come in “What you doing?” to which my mom replies “cleaning up your mess”. As much as my mom tries I do not really like fruit and veg, sometimes I will have a bit of orange and the odd grape but you will need to be inventive if you want me to eat more than that! I love to be sprayed with water – well one has to clean doesn’t one? One other thing… I am a Cockatoo so I do make a noise, more so in late afternoon, so you need to be prepared for this.
