I’m generally a real sweetheart, though I will admit that I prefer the company of men. I’m okay with women–I’ll even step up for them–as long as there aren’t any men around. I also talk a lot. I’ll have you laughing when I ask for a “cuppa tea”! I have to warn you that if I don’t like you I might give a hard nip. Just go slow and pay attention to my signals and you’ll be fine. I fly very well and love to sit on people’s shoulders. I can belt out a bit of a scream sometimes, so you’d have to be okay with that. It doesn’t generally last very long, but I am an Amazon, so you’ll have to accept my voice, I’m afraid. I’m fine with children and other pets and I have no problem with other birds. I love to play with all kinds of toys and I really enjoy a good bath. I think you will fall in love with me if you just give me a chance. I’m a real gem of a bird, if I do say so myself!
