Hi, my name is Jacko and I am a beautiful white Ringneck Parakeet. I came to Birdline as my owner sadly passed away. I'm a very timid boy and I get very scared when people approach me. For this reason, my Safehouse Mum thinks I would be happier in a bird room or aviary, although up till now I have lived in a cage, coming out to stretch my wings most days. I tend to avoid the other birds that are at my safehouse, but I was OK with the other birds in my previous home.

I currently eat a seed diet and won’t try pellets or chop or anything else, but my Safehouse mum will keep trying in the hope I will be more adventurous when I settle. I scream when my food and water bowls are being changed, but generally I am quite content and let out happy chirps now and then.

Do you have the patience and space to give me a safe harbor to land in? I'm sure once I'm settled in my forever home I will settle and be less scared.
