Hi, my name is Polly and I’m an Orange Wing Amazon thought to be in my late teens.

I'm friendly and will take treats from you. Once I earn your trust I step up, give kisses and bow my head for scritches.

I love to hang out on my cage all day so need to be let out as much as possible, I get stressed if locked away for long periods of time and will pluck. I still feather pluck even when not locked away but get more stressed when I am so unfortunately it has a knock-on effect.

I do like to show my chest and legs off and despite my plucked chest, legs, back and wings I'm still beautiful, my Safehouse mum thinks I have the prettiest eyes. I even wolf whistle at her and make kissy noises when she tells me so.

I can say hello and play peek a boo. I'm also good at making squeaky toy noises which trick the chihuahuas in the house no end ha-ha.

I would really like somebody who has the time to spend with me. I do not need constant attention, and I do not mind other birds as long as they keep to themselves. I quite like listening to them.

I have so much love to give and really am the sweetest girl. I have never bitten anybody in my Safehouse I just give a warning if I want to be left alone and as they respect my boundaries, I have never had to use my beak.

I do love to dance and when excited tend to have a good scream also if you leave me for too long, I'll give you a scream just so you know I'm still here.

My Safehouse mum wanted to keep me forever and is so sad to see me go, unfortunately her health is bad, and she cannot give me the long-term care I need She just wants the absolute best for me, could this be you??
