Polly
Polly
Hello, my name is Polly (my first name was Jo-Jo but my Dad started calling me Polly and it stuck). I'm a curious bird who likes to explore and meet new people (but not little people).
I'm not interested in fancy toys - just make sure I always have cardboard egg boxes in my cage and I'll happily chew them, especially when I'm going off the sleep. I'm told I'm a bit of a fussy eater but I'll try new things - I'll just chuck them if I don't like them.
I love a chat and I'm very good at imitating the digital noises around your home - and the delivery vans that reverse outside! I do like my sleep so it's early to bed for me and early to rise.
I like women more than men but tolerate both. I'm afraid I am a bit too attached to my Mum, which gets my hormones going and then I get frustrated! Best just to stroke my head when I need attention - and not for too long! I can be demanding of your time and attention, especially when I'm hormonal, so please be patient. Take me out for a walk in my carrier and I will have a long rest when I get back.
I'm looking for a quiet, chilled out space to live in. I don't really like music or television, so a space away from those noises would suit me. Barking dogs and small children frighten me but I'd love to be around other birds. I'm a very special bird and I'm looking for a very special person to love me and take care of me.
I would preferably like to stay in Kent and go to an experienced home who may have 1 or 2 other birds for company. Many thanks Polly. X
