Birdline is run entirely by volunteers and we are always interested to hear from anyone who may be able to offer their time and skills to help with our work.  Volunteering is a really rewarding way to help birds in need and it’s also good fun too, as it puts you in touch with a wide network of fellow bird lovers.

We are looking for people to help in the following ways:

• Rehoming team – interviewing applicants by telephone.
• Homecheckers – nationwide
• Area Managers and Co-ordinators
• Event ambassadors
• Professional support e.g. fundraising, marketing, PR, graphic design, merchandising, legal and financial.
• IT support – particularly database entry and cleansing.
• Board Members
• Clerical work
• Volunteer training and management
