We are an independent charity and we rely on the generosity of our Members and supporters to continue our mission to rescue, rehome and rehabilitate exotic birds.

Members are the backbone of our charity, and your membership helps us to rescue and rehome hundreds of parrots. As a member you can apply to safehouse or foster a bird.
Your Area Coordinator or Area Manager will be there to give you advice and support during this process.
As a member you can also make use of member resources which provide a wealth of information on parrot care.
Are you as nuts about birds as we are? If so you can help us to help the birds in our care by donating to Birdline.
Many of the birds we rescue do not have suitable cages, they can be too small, rusty or damaged through years of neglect. Please considering contributing to our Cage Fund.
Love birds, but can’t have one of your own? There are several birds in Birdline who have prior medical conditions, which makes them uninsurable and thus, difficult to rehome due to the extra costs involved in caring for them. Our bird sponsorship scheme gives you the opportunity to help care for one of our precious, vulnerable birds. You can read their stories on our Sponsor a bird page.
