In 2022 we welcomed Coco into our home through the wonderful Birdline charity, and we can safely say he has changed our lives.
As first-time bird parents, we navigated through initial doubts and questions during the adoption process. The support and guidance we received were nothing short of fantastic. A dedicated Birdline volunteer delivered Coco to us, marking the commencement of a new chapter in our lives.
In the beginning, Coco was a bit shy and reserved, but he quickly formed a special bond with his favorite human. We initiated a training routine that has not only helped him thrive but has also made him the heart of our home. From being a quiet companion, Coco has transformed into a chatterbox, serenading us with songs before bedtime. Even the moments when he expresses his discontent in a rapid-fire manner, reminiscent of an auctioneer are entertaining, especially as we are still deciphering what he’s saying!
Over the past 11 months, our relationship with Coco has grown stronger, and now, imagining life without him is simply impossible. We are grateful for the early support that eased our doubts and questions. Coco is not just a pet; he’s a cherished member of our flock, and we consider ourselves privileged to share our lives with him.
